My hope is that this blog will be a collective exploration between critic and reader, and reader and reader, where my observations serve as conversation starters, not the last word. I'll be focusing on Chicago, of course, but I'll also be looking at significant designs around the nation and the world to put the architecture and urban design scene in Chicago and its suburbs into global perspective.
